Unforeseen blocks in life can cause most to be retained, to quit, or to even accept remedial solutions, but not Ava. For Ava, failure is not an option and her success can never be negotiated. Her determination to overcome is supernatural and she continues to make the proper adjustments to grow from each of life’s ‘teachable’ moments.

There were times when unrelenting voices suggested she shrink back and become minute, but a still small voice on the inside affirmed that she is meant to do something large and spectacular. Feeling out of place when you think you should fit in perfectly, suffering from the hands of abuse, and making choices that led to unfortunate situations would cause many a woman to quit, even on life…………but not Ava. Ava chooses to live and to love life: to sing, to teach, to preach, to create; to articulate, and yes, to pray for others who feel they have no voice to speak for themselves.

A variety of life’s ‘teachers’ have helped to shape, make and mold her into the woman she has become, and so she has decided to use her voice to revolutionize the lives of others and point them back to the One who sent her.
